Six people killed in Nalchik

A group of six militants has been liquidated in a counterterrorist operation (CTO) conducted in Nalchik, said a law enforcement source from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).

Tonight, the city of Nalchik was put under the CTO regime. In one of high-rise apartment buildings in the micro-district "Aleksandrovka", a group of armed men was blocked. The suspected militants refused to surrender; and power agents opened response fire on them.

"According to preliminary data, six militants were killed in an apartment of a nine-storey building located in Musov Street," the RIA "Novosti" quotes its source from law enforcement bodies of the KBR.
