NAC states liquidation of eight IS militants in Ingushetia
Eight militants were killed today in the course of a special operation conducted near the village of Dattykh, Sunzha District of Ingushetia. The militants were killed "during an armed clashes with the use of artillery," said a police source.
The Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported that the militants killed in the Sunzha District were members of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS). According to the NAC, the group's leader was Adam Tagilov, who organized the attack of Chechen militants on Grozny in December 2014.
"According to security data, the neutralized bandits had recently sworn and became members of the IS. All of them were involved in a number of terrorist crimes, including killings of law enforcers and extorting money from entrepreneurs," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the NAC's message.
During the special operation in Ingushetia the casualties were Rakhim Kasybaev, Muslim Mekhdiev, Gairbek Djamaldinov, Ramzan Magomadov, Magomed Zaurbekov, Adam Tagilov and Imam Utsimiev, the LifeNews reports today, citing its sources. The name of one more casualty is not disclosed.
