Izmailov family moves reconciliation condition with instigators of brawl at Beslan Airport

Relatives of Izmailov brothers, who were beaten up at the Beslan Airport, are ready to conclude a truce with the families of the initiators of the brawl, provided all the participants of the incident, including airport security guards, are fairly punished.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 22 after the brawl, the cousins Magomed and Bashir Izmailov were hospitalized. They claim that there were about 14 attackers, while the airport securities were idling.

Akhmed Izmailov, Bashir's father, said that on July 29 the incident was discussed in the Ministry of External Relations, National Policy, Press and Information of Ingushetia. He noted that due to the fact that information about the brawl was spread by websites, including supporters of the Ingush opposition, the official-representative of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), expressed his dissatisfaction.

Now, the issue of reconciliation of the families of the Ingush and Ossetian parties is considered by the two ministries in charge of national policies, said Israpil Nalgiev, the press secretary of the above ministry of Ingushetia. According to his version, the conflict has received such a resonance largely because the official structures were quick to blame the Izmailov cousins for initiating the brawl.

Albert Barakhoev, the Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia, reported his vision of the conflict to the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov. Barakhoev said that the quarrel of young people was provoked by the young men from Ingushetia, after which Evkurov instructed Barakhoev to invite the Izmailov cousins for a prophylactic conversation.
