Power agents confiscated only documents about his illness from Murtazaliev's office

In the course of a search conducted in the office of Sagid Murtazaliev, the head of the branch of the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) in Dagestan, suspected of financing terrorism, law enforcers behaved correctly and confiscated only Murtazaliev's sick leave and medical card history, said the PFR spokeswoman.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that investigators, accompanied by special fighters, came to Murtazaliev's office on July 30. Murtazaliev was not at his workplace – he is now in Germany, where he recovers after a surgery that he was exposed to after a trauma received in training, his supporters report.

The search was connected with the case, in which Murtazaliev and Andrei Vinogradov, the head of the Kizlyar District of Dagestan, are the suspects of involvement in murders and financing terrorism. Their supporters believe that the case is a political order.

Albina Sunkulieva, the head of the press service of the Dagestani branch of the PFR, has noted that during the search power agents behaved "very politely and correctly."

Currently, the maximum stay on a sick leave is not firmly fixed by the law, said the lawyer Ruslan Magomedov. According to his version, employees of the PFR are not considered as civil servants. At the same time, they are under the restrictions and prohibitions, imposed on state servants by the legislation on countering anti-corruption, the violation of which may result in dismissal of the employee, he added.
