Police starts inquiring into beating of Ingushetia natives at Beslan Airport

North Ossetia has initiated a criminal investigation into the mass brawl at the Beslan Airport "Vladikavkaz", which resulted in grave traumas of two natives of Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 23, as a result of a mass brawl that occurred in the Beslan Airport, natives of Ingushetia Bashir and Magomed Izmailov were hospitalized with grave traumas. According to the victims, they were attacked by about 14 persons, while policemen were idling.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of North Ossetia claims that policemen prevented a conflict of four people. According to preliminary data of the police, it was a domestic conflict because of a girl. The parties refused to apply to the police right in the place of the incident.

Finally, the police initiated a case on deliberate infliction of bodily harm of moderate gravity, the MIA has reported. The sanctions under this article of the Criminal Code provide for up to three years in prison.

The MIA has added that two employees of the company, which is serving the car park at the airport, who took part in the brawl, have been dismissed by the decision of their bosses.
