New trial of Nasir Javadov launched in Dagestan

On July 30, the Magaramkent District Court of Dagestan began a new consideration of the case of Nasir Javadov, a resident of Magaramkent, who died during interrogation in the building of the republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). During the session, the court questioned the expert, who examined the firearms belonging to Javadov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 17, 2015, the Magaramkent District Court of Dagestan decided to stop the case of Javadov, accused of illegal arms circulation in connection with his death. Javadov's relatives are trying to achieve his full acquittal.

The Magaramkent entrepreneur Nasir Javadov (Primov) was detained on September 21, 2013, on suspicion of organizing the assassination of Abrek Gadjiev, the head of the Magaramkent District. According to investigators, during a search of Javadov's garage law enforcers found a rifle and three submachine guns with cartridges. On that very day Javadov died in the building of the MIA of Dagestan.

In the course of the new consideration of the case, on July 30 the court questioned the expert, who participated in the inspection of the found firearms. It turned out that he was not present at the search – he came later; however, his signature is under the search protocol, said the advocate Elena Denisenko, adding that the next court session is scheduled for August 7.
