Advocate of Dugulubgey villager cannot establish his whereabouts
Today in the morning, operative agents wearing masks detained Murat Balkarov, a resident of the village of Dugulubgey. This was reported by Elena Bairamkulova, an advocate of the Bar Association of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), who is trying to establish the whereabouts of her client.
According to her story, she has sent her applications to Oleg Zharikov, the Republic's Public Prosecutor, to the head of Investigating Department for the KBR of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). Bairamkulova asserts that she cannot meet Murat Balkarov, whose relatives concluded an agreement with her on advocate's services.
"Because of the fact that until now I don't know, where my client is, I have reasonable grounds to assume that illegal methods of investigation are applied to him," she wrote.
Armed men in camouflage uniform made a search of the house "without any explanations"; and then took Balkarov away to some unknown place, said Zalina Nagoeva, the detainee's sister.
