Persons killed in Nalchik CTO named

According to the "LifeNews", the six persons killed in the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in Nalchik have been identified as Sultan Abshaev, Marat Dotkulov, Amir Kazberigev, brothers Murat and Aslan Bogotov, and the owner of the blocked apartment.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced at 3:00 a.m. within Lenin Avenue and Kuashev, Rybalko, Schors, Kabardinskaya and Tolstoy Streets. According to the Russia's National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), six persons were killed in the course of the CTO.

According to the "LifeNews", Sultan Abshaev was "the leader of the central sector of the KBR's militants"; Marat Dotkulov "was in hiding for two months"; and Amir Kazberigev "had been on the federal wanted list as a member of an illegal armed formation (IAF) for two years."

According to a law enforcement source, Abshaev, 22, and Kazberigev, 29, had also been on the federal wanted list.

However, according to information in the section "Wanted" on the website of the KBR's MIA, brothers Murat and Aslan Bogotov had also been on the federal wanted list as suspected IAF members.

As for Sultan Abshaev, he was known among militants under the Muslim name of Seifulla, the "Kommersant" reports, adding that he was involved in the murder of the prosecutor Marat Tokov.
