"Rosbalt": witness says Nemtsov's murder was plotted before Charlie Hebdo case

The Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) held a confrontation of Zaur Dadaev, accused of killing Boris Nemtsov, with a witnesses who had identified Dadaev as a man, whom he saw in Moscow, in November 2014, when Dadaev was preparing murder attempt, the "Rosbalt" reports. The results of the confrontation cast doubt on the basic version of the investigation that Boris Nemtsov was assassinated for his support of the cartoonists from the "Charlie Hebdo" magazine slain in Paris on January 7.

The source of the "Rosbalt" explained that in the context of the new witness' testimony and collected evidence, the final charge may lose the version that Nemtsov was killed for his support of French cartoonists, and take another one – that the murder was committed, since the accused disagreed in general with political actions of one of the leaders of the PARNAS Party, the "Rosbalt" further reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of  Zaur Dadaev or his representatives with respect to the confrontation. No comments of investigating authorities have also been reported.
