Adler Court appoints date of continuation of dealing with cases of Gritsevich and Kimaev
The Adler District Court has scheduled for July 6 the continuation of the consideration of the case of Anna Gritsevich, a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, on disobedience to police, and for July 7 – the case of ecologist Vladimir Kimaev.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Kimaev and Gritsevich were detained on June 29 during their inspection of a garbage dump in the village of Chereshnya, which appeared there after the flooding in Sochi on June 25. They were charged with disobeying the police, and face a possible fine from 500 to 1000 roubles, or an administrative arrest for up to 15 days.
The court began considering the above cases on July 2. As reported by the advocate Alexander Popkov, the cases against Gritsevich and Kimaev will be considered on July 6 and 7, accordingly.
