"Kommersant": Zaur Dadaev presents new version of events on Nemtsov's murder day

At his repeated interrogation at the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), Zaur Dadaev, accused of killing Boris Nemtsov, presented a completely new version of the events that occurred on the murder day, the "Kommersant" reports.

On June 26, the head of the operative-investigation group of the ICRF satisfied the motion of Dadaev's defence to re-interrogate him. Dadaev told the investigator that during his first interview he "was forced under torture to incriminate himself and others"; and now he would like to tell "how it all was in reality."

According to his new version, on February 27 Dadaev was in the Moscow district of Ochakovo-Matveevskoe, shuttling among local restaurants, the mosque and apartments of his fellow countrymen; he did not leave for the centre of the city, where the murder was committed, at all. According to his defence, his alibi will be confirmed by witnesses and billing of his three mobile phones.

According to Dadaev's defence, in the future, testimonies will be given by at least two witnesses who visited on February 27 the mosque and restaurants together with Dadaev.
