Militant's widow Fatima Kurbanova released from police in Makhachkala

A resident of Dagestan Fatima Kurbanova is back at large after their stay at the police, where she was forced to undergo the procedure of voice recording. The woman associates these law enforcers' actions with the fact that she is the widow of the militant killed in 2009.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 19 the detention of Fatima Kurbanova, a resident of Makhachkala and the widow of a member of the armed underground, was reported by her acquaintance. The police refused to confirm the information about her detention.

Akhmed Manasov, Fatima's husband, and her brother Albert Kurbanov, were killed in 2009 during a special operation. This time, power agents brought Fatima Kurbanova together with Natalia Lessovaya, her sister-in-law, the widow of Albert Kurbanov, to the Kirovsky ROVD (District Interior Division), said Fatima after her release from the police in the evening on June 19. According to her story, after 2009, she has been repeatedly taken to the police.

"Last time I was brought there in 2013: they took my blood, fingerprints and registered me," said Kurbanova. She explained that she has concern about her child. "He doesn't go to school yet, but he is already registered by the police," said Fatima.
