Grozny residents claim interruption of water supply

Starting from the morning of June 16, water supply in several districts of the Chechen capital is interrupted. This was reported by residents of Grozny. The utility companies explain interruptions of water supply in Grozny by renovation works.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Akhmad, a resident of the town of Mayakovsky in Grozny, that his house is deprived of water supply for more than one day already.

According to the city residents, the problem of lack of water is most urgent for people, who live in apartments.

Imran, a resident of Grozny, has said that residents of his district regularly face interruptions of water supply.

According to an official of the Grozny administration, the zone of water supply interruption included the town of Mayakovsky and several villages with total population of more than 10,000 people.

A representative of the "Gorvodokanal" company has explained the interruption of water supply in a part of the territory of the Staropromyslovsky District of Grozny by renovation works. He has assured that the problem of water supply in the part of the territory of the city of Grozny "will be resolved during the next several hours."
