Advocate demands to release Mukhammad Magomedov from SIZO
The arrest of Mukhammad Magomedov, one of the leaders of the public organization "The Union of the Just", expired in the evening on June 2, said his advocate Magomed Magomedov and demanded to release his client from the SIZO (pre-trial prison).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the detention of Mukhammad Magomedov became known in the afternoon on May 23; and on May 25, the Leninsky District Court of Makhachkala arrested Mukhammad for 10 days; and his advocate appealed against the arrest. On June 2, Mukhammad Magomedov was charged with illegal possession and manufacture of weapons.
The head of the SIZO has not yet ordered to release Mukhammad from custody, despite the fact that his arrest expired on June 2, said the lawyer Magomed Magomedov.
According to his story, he turned to the head of the SIZO demanding to "immediately release Mukhammad." The advocate asserts that the SIZO staff agreed, in a talk with him, that "there was a violation in the court judgement," and "that they would clear out the situation during the day."
As stated by a source from the Leninsky ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, in the near future Mukhammad's detention will be extended.
