CTO regime introduced in Untsukul District of Dagestan
In the Untsukul District of Dagestan, the operational headquarters of the republic has introduced the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime.
Earlier, a resident of the Untsukul District has reported that law enforcers cordoned off the village of Kharachi. At 11:00 a.m. Moscow time, the legal CTO regime was introduced within the administrative boundaries of the Untsukul District. The major search activities take place in the village of Kharachi and its surroundings, the RIA "Dagestan" reports with reference to a source in the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan.
"The search activities to detect and neutralize militants are underway," the "Chernovik" (Draft) quotes an official from the operational headquarters of Dagestan.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on May 22, the CTO regime in the Kurakh and Suleiman-Stalsky Districts of Dagestan, which was introduced on May 17 after the murder of the forester, was cancelled.
