Advocate visits Mukhammad Magomedov at Kaspiysk IVS

Advocate Magomed Magomedov has managed to visit Mukhammad Magomedov, one of the leaders of the public organization "League of the Just", detained in Makhachkala on May 23, who is being kept at the IVS (detention facility) of Kaspiysk.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the afternoon of May 23, the detention of Mukhammad Magomedov was reported by eyewitnesses. According to them, at about 10:00 a.m. Moscow time, one of the leaders of the public organization "League of the Just" was detained by men in masks in Gadjiev Street, nor far from the Rector's Office of the Dagestani State University (DSU).

Today, advocate Magomed Magomedov has visited Mukhammad Magomedov. The advocate has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the detainee is being kept at the IVS of Kaspiysk.

"He has not yet testified in the case; however, as I understand from our personal conversation, my client does not admit his guilt of the charges filed against him, including possession and manufacture of weapons," advocate Magomed Magomedov has said.

According to the advocate, Mukhammad Magomedov was beaten during the detention.
