Dagestan: Nuridin Magomedov was thought to be militants' helper
Nuridin Magomedov, a resident of the city of Izberbash, who was killed by return fire during a shootout with law enforcers, was known to operative agents as a militants' helper.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 19, when Izberbash policemen tried to inspect a KIA car, its driver opened fire on them – he was killed by return fire. None of the policemen was hurt. The attacker was later identified as Nuridin Magomedov.
As reported by a source from the Dagestan Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the killed native of Izberbash was searched for by operative agents as an active helper of illegal armed formations (IAFs); however, according to the source, Magomedov was not on the official wanted list.
