On April 24, it was reported that law enforcers were looking for Ruslan Geremeev and checking him for his involvement in the murder of Boris Nemtsov. According to the "Interfax", Ruslan Geremeev got a status of a suspect. According to law enforcers, Beslan Shavanov blew himself up during his detention in Grozny on March 7. Even before the announcement of his identification, the "Interfax" reported with reference to a source in the law enforcement bodies that the suicide bombing had been committed by a man suspected of the murder of Boris Nemtsov.
