Column of federal forces blown un in Chechnya
A military column with servicemen of the Russian Defense Ministry was blown up in the Shatoy district of Chechnya on June 1. "Yesterday, at about 12 a.m., a high-capacity explosive device mounted at the roadside went off when a column of federal forces, which consisted of one Ural truck and three armored vehicles, was passing by. The explosion occurred in the vicinity of the Aslanbek-Sheripovo village. One soldier was shell-shocked in the explosion. There were no other victims among the servicemen," a source at the military commandant's office reported.
Local policemen jointly with officers of the military commandant's office are working in the area to search for people involved in the explosion.
