The book "100 Years After", telling about violence against Yazidis in Northern Iraq, was presented in Yerevan.
The book was published within the grant programme provided by the Youth Foundation of Armenia, in 1000 copies, said Gamlet Smoyan, the head of the public organization "National Union of Sinjar Yazidis".
The materials for the book were borrowed from international media, reports of international organizations, as well as stories of advocates, who survived from the mass extermination of Yazidis in Ottoman Turkey, Boris Murazi, the author of the book and the head of the board of the above Yazidis' association, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
He finds it important for Yazidis to start fighting for their rights in international organizations.
According to his version, it is necessary to register and put together all the facts of violence against Yazidis since August 3, 2014. "We need to fight also by means of writings; and the book '100 Years After' should become a literary and legal start for the fight," said Boris Murazi.
