CTO regime lifted in Makhachkala
The counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime, which was introduced in the city of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, on May 7, was cancelled in the evening today, on May 8.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the legal CTO regime was introduced on May 7, when power agents blocked an apartment house. Later, when it was stormed, three suspected militants were killed.
"At 11:00 p.m. Moscow time the CTO regime in Makhachkala was cancelled," the RIA "Novosti" quotes its source from the operative headquarters of Dagestan.
The "Interfax" adds that the headquarters has completed all the activities within the CTO.
Let us note here that, according to a law enforcement source, the men killed in the CTO in Makhachkala were pre-identified as Zaur Begov, Abumuslim Gasanov and Mirzabek Idrisov.
