Khavazh-Bagaudin Aushev convoyed from Ingushetia to Samara

Detainee Khavazh-Bagaudin Aushev has been convoyed to Samara by staff members of the temporary operational group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Khavazh-Bagaudin Aushev, a son of Akhmed-Bashir Aushev, the co-Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Ingush public movement "Mekhk-Kkhel", was detained in the evening of April 24.

On April 24, the Russian MIA for the Republic of Ingushetia received a letter from the Investigating Division of the Promyslovsky District of the Investigating Department for the Samara Region of the Russian MIA. The letter was signed by Mr.Fomin, and it requested to bring Khavazh-Bagaudin Aushev to Samara, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source from the Russian MIA's Department for Ingushetia, who preferred to remain anonymous.

"The document contained no information about involvement of Khavazh-Bagaudin in any illegal actions," the source of the "Caucasian Knot" has noted.

Akhmed-Bashir Aushev, the detainee's father, believes his son was never involved in any illegal actions. According to the man, yet at the ROVD (District Interior Division), one of the relatives managed to see Khavazh-Bagaudin, who "was severely beaten, and his face got hematomas and bruises." "Even if we assume that my son has committed an offense somewhere, it does not give them the right to brutally beat him," Akhmed-Bashir Aushev has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. The man has also noted that he will seek a thorough forensic examination into the fact of beating of his son.
