Rostov Region retains only eight TACs

In the Rostov Region, the number of temporary accommodation centres (TACs) for refugees from Donbas was reduced over the period of three weeks from 15 to 8. Now, they accommodate 1609 persons, including 548 children.

As of April 27, in total, the Rostov Region accommodated 37,575 citizens of Ukraine, including 11,298 children. Of them, 35,966 people are temporarily accommodated at their relatives' and acquaintances' homes. This has been reported by the website of the Rostov regional government on April 27.

Meanwhile, in the vicinities of Novoshakhtinsk and in the Matveyev-Kurgan District, two additional field tent camps are being deployed. Each of them is to accommodate 1000 people. The Novoshakhtinsk field camp is to be arranged by May 1; however, according to the Rostov regional government, it will be opened only in the case of a sharp increase in the number of migrants from the Donbas.
