NAC confirms information on death of Aliaskhab Kebekov, leader of "Imarat Kavkaz"

Aliaskhab Kebekov, the leader of the grouping "Imarat Kavkaz" recognized in Russia as terrorist, was killed during the special operation in Dagestan. This was reported by the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 19, in the Buynaksk village of Gerei-Avlak, power agents blocked a house with suspected militants. According to the power agents, five members of the armed underground were killed during the special operation. Today, supporters of the armed underground of Northern Caucasus have confirmed the information on the death of Aliaskhab Kebekov, known as Amir Ali Abu Mukhammad, and Shamil Gasanov, the Amir of the militants of the Untsukul District of Dagestan.

According to the NAC, Aliaskhab Kebekov was involved in the organization of the terror act committed in the house of Said Afandi al-Chirkawi, Sufi Sheikh of Dagestan, in August 2012 and also in the preparation of the terror acts committed in Volgograd in 2013.

"As a result of operative actions of the Russian FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the terrorist organization 'Imarat Kavkaz' and the criminal armed underground acting in Northern Caucasus are deprived of their leaders," the "TASS" quotes the NAC as stating.

Let us remind you that as a result of the negotiations, a child was let out of the house. Two women refused to leave the house and were killed. They were wives of Aliaskhab Kebekov and Shamil Gasanov, one of the websites supporting the armed underground of Northern Caucasus reports.
