Darya Polyudova's case returned for further investigation
The head of the Investigating Department (ID) of the FSB for the Krasnodar Territory has returned the criminal case against the activist Darya Polyudova to the investigator with instruction to eliminate the violations, said the Darya's advocate.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Darya Polyudova, one of the organizers of the failed march for federalization of Kuban, is accused of inciting extremism and disintegration of Russia. On February 25, after six months spent in custody, Darya Polyudova was released from the SIZO (pre-trial prison) on recognizance not to leave.
So far, there is no official confirmation about the return of the case for further investigation.
Darya Polyudova wrote in her page on the social network "VKontakte" that a psychological and psychiatric examination has been appointed in her case. She said that she saw no reason to examine her, but she failed to obtain a copy of the appointment, which is needed to challenge the decision in court.
Polyudova has also informed that the investigator refused to expand her recognizance not to leave on the entire Krasnodar Territory. "My request that I want to live and work in Krasnodar, he (the investigator) declared a refusal, so that I undertook nothing protest-like Krasnodar," wrote the activist.
