In Chechnya, public employees take active part in online voting for Vladimir Putin
In Chechnya, employees of public institutions have reported that the authorities persistently advised them to take part in the voting organized by the US magazine "Time". According to the voting results, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been recognized the most influential person in the world.
"I do not know if this craziness took place in Grozny only or in other cities too. Meanwhile, at our place, a link to the website with the voting was sent not only to social networks and mobile phone messengers, but also to e-mails of public employees. At our work, we were told about the statement allegedly voiced by the leader of the republic (Ramzan Kadyrov, note of the "Caucasian Knot") that all the employees were to vote at the website of the 'Time' magazine for Vladimir Putin," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by a public employee, who preferred to remain anonymous.
According to her, similar processes took place in the city schools. "My sister does not understand English and does not use the Internet; however, they explained in details to her how to vote from a mobile phone," the source has said.
