Law enforcers cancel CTO regime in three districts of Dagestan
Today, the legal counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime that was in force in the Untsukul, Gergebil and Buynaksk District of Dagestan has been cancelled.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Untsukul and Gergebil Districts of Dagestan were put under the CTO regime on April 2; and the Buynaksk District – back on March 15.
The CTO regime has been lifted in all three areas, including the city of Buynaksk, today at 11:30 a.m. Moscow time, the RIA "Novosti" reports, referring to its source from the operative headquarters of Dagestan.
The "Chernovik" adds that according to power agents, the CTO regime has been lifted after the completion of their activities.
Let us remind you that according to a source from the above operative headquarters, in the Untsukul and Gergebil Districts, power agents were searching for and neutralizing militants. On April 4, they made house-by-house checks in the villages of Maidanskoe, Balakhani and Zirani of the Untsukul District. Villagers of Balakhani and Tsatanikh reported about searches and forest fires in the vicinity of their villages. On March 18, in the Buynaksk District, power agents reported finding a large hideout with arms and ammunition.
