Nagorno-Karabakh blames Azerbaijan for 900 acts of shelling within the week
On April 5-11, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line for 900 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
According to the press service of this MoD, during the week from April 5 to April 11 this year, Azerbaijan "made over 19,000 shots from various types of small arms, grenade launchers and mortars at Armenian positions."
The advanced units of the Defence Army "gave an adequate response to enemy's actions," says the website of the MoD of the NKR.
At the same time, today, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 50 acts of shelling within the last 24 hours. On April 6, an Armenian serviceman named Hayk Keshishoglyan was killed by shelling on the contact line of the parties to the Karabakh conflict.
