In a wooded area of the Gudermes District of Chechnya, law enforcers found a militants' hideout. Weapons, ammunition and military uniforms were stored in the hiding.
The hidden niche, presumably belonging to members of the armed underground, was discovered by the police near the village of Koshkeldy of the Gudermes District.
"The niche hid a Kalashnikov machine gun, two Kalashnikov submachine guns, 11 magazines for them, an army bayonet and more than 300 rounds of ammunition for automatic weapons of various calibres," the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported.
The found weapons and ammunition were submitted for examination. The law enforcers take steps to identify the persons who may have been involved in the construction of the hiding.
