CTO regime introduced in two mountainous districts of Dagestan

This morning, regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced in the Untsukul and Gergebil Districts of Dagestan by the decision of the operational headquarters of the republic.

The legal regime of CTO is valid from 6:00 a.m. Moscow time.

"Starting from 6:00 a.m., the legal regime of CTO is valid within the perimeter of the Gergebil and Untsukul Districts," said the spokesman of the headquarters of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) in Dagestan as quoted by the RIA "Dagestan".

In the Untsukul and Gergebil Districts, law enforcers conduct operations to find and neutralize militants, the "Chernovik" reports with reference to the spokesman of the NAC's operational headquarters in Dagestan.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported that most recently, the CTO regime was introduced in the Untsukul District on March 8, 2014, and cancelled on November 26, 2014.
