Man suspected of wounding "Pre-Parliament" member in Gyumri surrenders to police

Today, in Armenia, Rudik Khachatryan, suspected of stabbing Grachya Mirzoyan, a member of the public initiative "Pre-Parliament", has come to the police to make a confession. This was reported by the Investigating Committee (IC) of Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Grachya Mirzoyan was attacked at a rally in Gyumri held on March 28 and organized by the public initiative "Pre-Parliament" under the slogan "The 100th anniversary of the genocide without regime". As a result of the Grachya Mirzoyan's injury, doctors had to remove his spleen.

Today, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by an official of the Armenian IC that Grachya Mirzoyan has recognized Rudik Khachatryan by a photo.

At present, investigators are interrogating Rudik Khachatryan as a suspect.
