Resident of Dagestan detained on suspicion of trying to sell her baby

The investigating authorities of Dagestan have detained a woman from Izberbash, suspected of trying to sell his 5-year-old daughter.

According to investigators, on March 27, 2015, the 41-year-old resident of Izberbash turned to her friend with a request to find a buyer for her 5-year-old daughter, whom she intended to sell for 100,000 roubles. The intention to commit the crime became known to law enforcers. On March 29, 2015, after the deal with the conditional buyer, law enforcers detained the woman; against whom a criminal case was opened under the article "trafficking in humans".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in June 2013 a resident of Dagestani Kizlyar was detained, when trying to sell her newborn daughter for 300,000 roubles.
