Power agents detain resident of Makhachkala

Murad Khiriyasulaev was detained by power agents in Makhachkala, said his friends; however, the police had not yet confirmed his detention.

Khiriyasulaev was detained at about 1:30 p.m. near the cafe, located in No. 26 in Baku Komissars. A Gazel van drove up to the place; some 7-8 men got out. They refused to tell, where they were taking Murad, his friend Karim, who was an eyewitness of the incident, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Murad Khiriyasulaev was engaged in some automobile business. "He did nothing illegal," said Karim.

At the moment of detention, a friend was with Khiriyasulaev, another eyewitness told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on the condition of anonymity.

"They dragged Murad and his friend out of the car and searched them; I didn't see any special rudeness on their part; some of them were civilian clothes. Then, they put Murad into the passenger seat of his car, a white Priora; some of them also sat into it and drove to some unknown place," he said.
