Zaur Dadaev's advocate states his alibi

As stated today by Ivan Gerasimov, the advocate of Zaur Dadaev, who is accused of killing the oppositional politician Boris Nemtsov, his client has an alibi.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadaev were accused of taking part in the murder of Nemtsov; according to investigators, they were direct perpetrators of the crime. Today, it became known that the charges have been presented to Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Shagid Gubashev, earlier detained in connection with the murder.

According to Ivan Gerasimov, on the night of Nemtsov's murder Dadaev "although being in Moscow, was in another place," the RBC reports.

Also today, Ivan Gerasimov announced his intention to collect evidence that his client has an alibi.

"When I get the proofs, I'll deliver them to the investigator," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Ivan Gerasimov as saying.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of investigators on the statement of Dadaev's advocate.
