NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 1200 bombardments within a week

As stated by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), during the week of March 8-14, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the contact line for about 1200 times.

According to the press service of the NKR's MoD, from March 8 to March 14, "the enemy made more than 18,000 shots from various types of small arms, mortars and grenade launchers."

The advanced unit "gave an adequate response to enemy's actions," says the website of the MoD of the NKR.

Earlier, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 52 acts of shelling during 24 hours.

On March 12, the Azerbaijani MoD announced the death of the soldier Anar Ataev in the combat. In its turn, the MoD of the NKR refuted the information about any diversion action on its part, and announced 200 cases of ceasefire violation within a day.
