Chechen MIA knows nothing about detention of new figurants in Nemtsov's case

The Chechen MIA has reported that they have no information about the detention of two more suspects in the Shelkovskoy District.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported, referring to a source of the edition named "Rosbalt", that on March 9 reports appeared about the detention of two more persons in connection with the inquiry into Nemtsov's murder, which took place in the Shelkovskoy District of Chechnya. Today, a source of the "Caucasian Knot" from power agencies of Chechnya has confirmed the detention. One of the detainees is a law enforcer and a close relative of the suspect Tamerlan Eskerkhanov.

The source has confirmed that Tamerlan Eskerkhanov is a native of the village of Schedrinskaya in the Shelkovskoy District.

Let us remind you that according to the official data, today, five persons are kept in custody in relation to Nemtsov's murder. On March 8, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sanctioned the arrest of Zaur Dadaev, Anzor Gubashev, Khamzat Bakhaev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov and Shagid Gubashev.

Boris Nemtsov, a politician and a native of Sochi, was shot dead on February 27 in central Moscow. He had systematically and sharply criticized the actions of the Chechen leadership.
