NKR's MoD reports killing of seven Azerbaijani soldiers on the border

At night on March 6, the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) killed seven Azerbaijani soldiers, who were trying to cross the border, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

As reported by the press service of the MoD of the NKR, at night on March 6, Azerbaijani militaries violated the ceasefire for over 80 times. According to the MoD, the advanced defensive posts of the Karabakh army were shelled for about 4500 times – from mortars, grenade launchers, sniper rifles "Istiglal" and DShK machine guns.

The statement notes that Azerbaijani soldiers "took two attempts of sabotage-scouting penetration in the northern and northern-easterly directions."

"In order to suppress the enemy's aggression, the Karabakh party took appropriate actions, as a result of which at least three Azerbaijani soldiers were killed in the northern direction... In the northern-easterly direction of the contact line, Azerbaijani special-purpose units lost four soldiers," says the statement of the NKR's MoD.

The Azerbaijan's attitude to the statement of the NKR's MoD is still unknown.
