Son of employee of STRC "Dagestan" detained by police, advocate says

The 26-year-old Artyom Alkhasov, whose kidnapping was reported by his relatives, was detained by policemen of the Sovietskiy ROVD (District Interior Division) of Makhachkala, said the young man's advocate.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on March 2 Artyom Alkhasov's relatives announced his kidnapping by unknown assailants in the centre of the capital of Dagestan.

Today, the advocate, who represents Artyom's interests, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that his client was detained and is kept in the Sovietskiy ROVD.

"I've just joined the case' and that's all what I know so far," said the advocate.

He added that today the house of Artyom Alkhasov's parents was searched, during which nothing illegal was found.
