Man kidnapped in Makhachkala is son of editor of STRC "Dagestan"

In Makhachkala, on March 2, unidentified kidnappers pushed Artyom Alkhasov, a son of Gadjikurban Alkhasov, an editor of the State TV and Radio Company (STRC) "Dagestan", into a car and took away to some unknown place. According to the father, Artyom's whereabouts is still unknown.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Artyom Alkhasov was kidnapped in the evening on March 2 in the centre of the capital of Dagestan, as claimed by his relatives. The police confirmed that they received an application about the kidnapping.

Today, Gadjikurban Alkhasov said that the kidnapped person is his son Artyom, born in 1988. He added, referring to eyewitnesses, some details of the incident, the "Chernovik" reports.

"Eyewitnesses said that three unidentified men forced my son into a black VAZ-14 car with the state number plate 803. They could not remember the letters on the plate, but were sure that the Dagestan region (05rus) was indicated. We were told about the kidnapping an hour later after the incident. When the son planted into the car, his cell phone dropped out of his pocket tube. This was the key to find us," said the editor of the STRC "Dagestan".

Gadjikurban Alkhasov confirmed that Artyom had been registered by the police three years ago, but in the last two years, as he said, neither district policemen, nor employees of other law enforcement units ever approached his son.
