Volgograd: man fires at trolleybus passenger from traumatic pistol

Volgograd policemen are searching for a man who opened fire in a trolleybus from his traumatic pistol and wounded a passenger.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Volgograd Region, the incident occurred on January 7 in the Kirov District in a route 18 trolleybus.

"In the course of a conflict, an unidentified man fired several shots from his traumatic pistol, causing a tangential stomach wound to a 45-year-old local resident," says a statement posted today on the website of the above MIA.

The statement adds that on suspicion of committing the above crime, they "search for a man of Slavic appearance, looking like 40-45 years old and having height of 175-180 cm."

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on December 25, 2014, in the Novoanninsky District of the Volgograd Region, policemen detained a citizen, earlier convicted for hooliganism, who opened fire in a local gymnasium. Then, nobody was hurt in the incident.
