Resident of Chechnya reports kidnapping of his brother in Moscow

Magomed Karsamov, a native of the Chechen Republic, has disappeared under unclear circumstances in Moscow. According to his relatives, the young man was kidnapped by law enforcers.

The disappearance of Magomed Karsamov in Moscow on December 18, was reported by his brother Timur Karsamov in his application submitted to the HRC "Memorial", where he turned asking to help to locate his brother.

According to Timur, Magomed Sulambekovich Karsamov, born in 1994, a resident of the village of Assinovskaya, Sunzha District of Chechnya, disappeared, when power agents were checking passports at the workers' hostel in No. 9 Boris Galushkin Street, where Magomed lived after he came, about a month ago, to Moscow to earn money.

The release of the HRC "Memorial", received by the "Caucasian Knot", says that Timur Karsamov had submitted an application about the disappearance of his brother to the OVD (Interior Division) of the Alekseevo District of Moscow, the employees of which checked passports in the hostel two days before the disappearance. But Moscow policemen deny detention of Karsamov. His relatives in Chechnya also turned to the prosecutor's office of the Sunzha District and checked that Magomed Karsamov is not on the list of wanted persons.
