Tsarnaev's defence asks to postpone the trial until September 2015

The advocates of Johar Tsarnaev, an ethnic Chechen, who is accused of organizing the terror act at the Boston Marathon run, have petitioned to postpone the start of the trial.

The defence of Tsarnaev asks to reschedule the start of the trial from January 5 to September 2015. The advocates said that they were studying a large number of materials received from the prosecution and found it difficult to figure out the details of Tsarnaev's life outside the United States. Also, to ensure an "objective consideration", the advocates find it reasonable to start the trial after the second anniversary of the terror act, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

So far, the court has not made a decision on this petition; however, the judge rejected the petition of the defence to move the trial from Boston to another city, the Voice of America reports.
