Dagestan: Magomed Kamalov's relatives report his disappearance
Magomed Kamalov, a resident of the city of Izberbash, disappeared in Dagestan. He left home on December 4, and his whereabouts is still unknown, said his relatives. The police station of Izberbash reported that he was not among the detainees.
Magomed's niece told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that her 48-year-old uncle went to work from home at about one in the afternoon.
"He is engaged in cutting glass; and he has his own shop, located in his parents' house, some 10-minute walk away. On the day of his disappearance, he left home in his car. Then, most probably, some clients came to his shop, and he went with them to make measurements in their car. Moreover, a neighbour of his parents saw him leaving the shop in someone else's car," said the niece.
His relatives fear of possible kidnapping of Kamalov due to the fact that he is religious, he wears a beard and may have been earlier registered by the police as an adherent of Salafism.
According to relatives, Kamalov had committed no offenses and was never brought to responsibility.
They are going to study the records of the CCTV cameras installed near his workplace, hoping to clarify the circumstances of his disappearance. They also intend to go to the police with an application about Kamalov's disappearance.
