Ammunition confiscated from local in Chechnya

In south-east of Chechnya, in the foothill Shali District, law enforcers detained a 39-year-old local resident, on whom cartridges to automatic firearms were found during personal search.

As reported by local policemen, "the law enforcers stopped a suspicious young man to check his ID."

Currently, the young man, a resident of the village of Mesker-Yurt, is under home arrest. The fact of the confiscated ammunition is checked; and the opening of the criminal case is decided.
