In Rostov Region, journalist of "Dozhd" TV Channel is detained
In the Rostov Region, Rodion Chepel, a correspondent of the "Dozhd" TV Channel, was detained. This was reported by Pavel Lobkov, a news presenter of the "Dozhd" TV Channel, during an on air news programme broadcasted in the evening of June 25.
According to the presenter, in the Rostov Region, Rodion Chepel was preparing reportage about people injured during the armed conflict in the south-east of Ukraine.
According to other reports, the "Dozhd" TV Channel correspondent was detained when he was preparing reportage about Ukrainian refugees who were accommodated in the Rostov Region, the online portal "Slon.ru" reports.
In March 2014, Rodion Chepel was detained while he was trying to get to Crimea from the mainland of Ukraine. He was detained by "Russian soldiers", who refused to present their documents. This was told by the journalist himself in a TV show of the "Dozhd" TV Channel.
