Ammunition and smoke bomb found in hideout in KBR
Employees of the inter-municipal district "Baksanskiy" of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) found a hideout near the cemetery in Baksan with ammunition and a smoke bomb, said the press service of the Republic's MIA.
Under a concrete a metal box was hidden, which contained 660 rounds of 7.62 mm cartridges and a smoke bomb.
The withdrawn items have been sent to the Forensic Centre of the local MIA. After examination by experts, the issue of opening a criminal case will be addressed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31 the Russian MIA told about detection of a hideout with ammunition and a powerful explosive device in the territory of one of the households in the Chegem District of the KBR. The power of the bomb was about 5 kilos in the TNT (trotyl) equivalent; it was ready for use.
