In Ingushetia, "Mekhk-Kkhel" claims co-Chair of its Supreme Council detained by law enforcers
Sarazhdin Sultygov, Co-Chair of the Supreme Council of the public movement "Mekhk-Kkhel", was detained by policemen and brought to the GOVD (City Interior Division) of Nazran. This was reported by the regional public movement "Mekhk-Kkhel".
According to the movement "Mekhk-Kkhel", on April 11, Sarazhdin Sultygov, a member of the Coordinating Council of the NGOs of the Republic of Ingushetia, co-Chair of the movement "Mekhk-Kkhel", was taken away by unidentified persons in masks.
Members of the movement failed to reveal the whereabouts of Sarazhdin Sultygov. However, on Saturday, they found out that he was held at the Nazran GOVD. The reason for his detention has not been reported.
Let us remind you that on June 8, 2013, Sarazhdin Sultygov took part in the Congress of the Ingush people in Moscow. In his speech delivered at the Congress, he criticized the activities of the law enforcement bodies and the top-ranking officials of Ingushetia.
During the period from October 29 to November 5, 2012, in Nazran, Sarazhdin Sultygov took part in the hunger strike, demanding the resignation of Ingush authorities and the implementation of the law on rehabilitation of repressed peoples.
