In Makhachkala, man sets himself on fire because of court's decision
In a street of Makhachkala, a man poured inflammable mixture over himself and set himself on fire, while court marshals were trying to enforce the judgment. This was reported by the press service of the Department of the Federal Service of Court Marshals (known as FSSP) for Dagestan.
According to the FSSP, the man who set himself on fire was the husband of the woman obliged by the Soviet District Court of Makhachkala to demolish an illegally constructed building in Levanevsky Street.
When the court marshals arrived, the man poured inflammable mixture over himself and set himself on fire, and then he came to a bucket of water to extinguish the flames. An ambulance arrived on the scene and hospitalized the victim. This was reported by the website of the FSSP Department for Dagestan.
The doctors estimate the condition of the victim as of moderate severity.
"It was a cry from his heart," Uma Gasanova has described the act committed by her husband. The woman has explained that they had a conflict with an owner of a local shop who went to the court to seek the demolition of the building attached to their house, the RSBC (Republican State Broadcasting Company) "Dagestan" reports.
