In Armenia, "LIFE" project employs 192 persons with disabilities

On November 29, in Yerevan, the photo exhibition ''Time to realize our opportunities'' dated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was opened. The event was organized as a part of the project ''Improving quality of life of persons with disabilities through their employment'' (LIFE). This was reported by Gina Sargizova, a manager of the project.

The exhibition presents photographs that demonstrate the opportunities for persons with disabilities for employment, working conditions in accordance with the type of disability, and examples for the society to adhere to the etiquette of communication with persons with disabilities.

Besides, the exhibition also presents works of persons with disabilities - students of painting studio of the public organization ''Unison''.

Starting from January 2012, due to the programme ''Improving quality of life of persons with disabilities through their employment'', 192 persons with disabilities were employed in various metropolitan and regional, both public and private, institutions, Gina Sargizova told the "Caucasian Knot'' correspondent.
