Dagestan: Kakhabroso villagers report detention of a local; power agents do not confirm

Jamal Magomedov, a resident of the village of Kakhabroso, Untsukul District of Dagestan, was detained by power agents; and his whereabouts are still unknown, said a local resident. In its turn, the on duty unit of the Untsukul ROVD (District Interior Division) has not confirmed the detention of Jamal Magomedov.

A resident of the Untsukul District of Dagestan, who asked not to be named, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on November 27 law enforcers conducted a series of searches in Kakhabroso and detained a local resident Jamal Magomedov, born in 1988.

"The village was blocked for a couple of hours, while the actions were taken; then, law enforcers left, taking Jamal with them. His relatives cannot find him; and nobody confirms his detention," said the source, adding that now the situation in Kakhabroso is calm.

The on duty unit of the Untsukul ROVD did not confirm the Magomedov's detention to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
